Engineering Entrance Exams in India

When it comes to getting admission in a renowned Engineering college in India, you have to secure a good position in the Engineering Entrance Exams conducted all across India by various Engineering Institutes. If you are planning to sit for Engineering Entrance Exams in 2010, you have several options to choose from.

AIEEE (All India Engineering Entrance Examination) and JEE (Joint Entrance Exam) are considered as the most competitive engineering entrance exams for the students seeking admission in a reputed Engineering college in India. State Level Engineering Entrance Examinations (SLEEE) is also considered as well recognized engineering entrance exams that offer admission in state engineering colleges. There are many other Universities and Institutes that conduct their own engineering entrance exams.

Engineering Entrance Exam Application procedure
A candidate can collect the application form either by post or you can download the online application form from the official website of the exam conducting body. Some institutes also offer the online form submission facility.

In case you are making an online application, you have to submit computer generated Application Form along with the Demand Draft drawn in favor of that institute.

Corrections in any particulars in the Application Form are generally not allowed.

Incomplete Application Forms of the Entrance Exams are rejected.

Engineering Entrance Examination Patterns
Most of the Engineering Entrance tests have two papers. The 1st paper of the exam is usually segmented into three sections comprising questions on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The paper contains objective type questions for BE/B.Tech degree courses.

The 2nd paper tests your skills on Mathematics, Aptitude and drawing if you are applying for B. Architecture and B. Planning.

The Aptitude Test tests your aptitude skills like perceptive power, observation and creative potential.
