University of Delhi invites application for admission into M.Tech Nanoscience and Nanotechnology courses. The course is being jointly conducted by the Department of Physics and Astrophysics and Department of Chemistry with the support from the Departments of Biological Sciences under the Faculty of Science, University of Delhi.
No Person shall be qualified for admission to the M.Tech Course unless he/she is at least 20 years of age before the 1st of July in the year in which he/she seeks admission. However, the Vice-Chancellor may, on the basis of individual merit, relax the age limit up to a maximum period of six months.
Admission Procedure
The list of selected candidates for interview will be displayed on 11th of July 2012 (Wednesday) after 04:00PM onwards on the M.Tech (NSNT) Notice Boards of the University of Delhi and will also be posted on the D. U. website: http://www.du.ac.in as per the above said dates.
Admission results will be displayed on the Notice Boards of the M.Tech (Nanoscience and Nanotechnology) Office located at Chemistry Department of the University of Delhi on 20 th July 2012 (Friday) after 04:00 p.m. onwards. The list of shortlisted candidates may also be viewed at official website of the Delhi University website: http://www.du.ac.in.

- Last date of receipt of application : 29th June 2012
- Date of Interview : 18 th of July 2012, Wednesday
- A Candidate must have qualified the Joint Admission Test (JAM-2012) to M.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry/Electronics conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) and few seats are also available for meritorious candidates qualifying the M.Sc. Admission Entrance Test (2012) conducted by the University of Delhi.
- Bachelor’s Degree with Physics/Chemistry/Electronics as a subject with 60% aggregate marks for General Category & 55% for all reserved categories.
- Completed at least one year course in Mathematics.

- All interested students should download the soft copy of Application Form free of cost from the D.U. website http://www.du.ac.in. The Application Form must be accompanied by a Demand Draft of Rs. 250/ (Non-Refundable) in favor of the Registrar, University of Delhi payable at Delhi branch. In case, if the Application Form is not accompanied by a DD, it is considered disqualified.
- Candidates must apply for admission to the course only on the prescribed Application Form available on D.U. website with effect from 10th May 2012 (Thursday).
